Ben Affleck Reaffirms As THE BATMAN, Welcomes Director Matt Reeves

Thursday saw a swarm of terrific news regarding The Batman and DC spin-off, Nightwing, though the former still stood unanswered for but briefly with regard to its star, Ben Affleck. Thus, quelling the weeks and days of on-going rumors of his departure, the actor took to Twitter to confirm the gospel.

Affleck still has two Justice League movies after this while it will be a delight to see how he advances this end of the DC spectrum on the big screen with Matt Reeves in the director's chair. Reeves's upcoming War For The Planet Of The Apes for 20th Century Fox is due on July 14 while The Batman plans for its possible 2018 release until further notice.
