Wanna see actor James Franco play a futuristic drug lord? Well now your chance is coming with the production of his latest indie sci-fi, Future World from Dark Rabbit Productions.
Franco and writer Bruce Thierry Cheung are directing from Cheung's script written with Jeremy Cheung and Jay Davis about a boy and his loyal bodyguard, tasked with a treacherous journey across the dystopia in search of a rarely known cure for his ailing mother, while an evil plot brews from the nefarious Warlord and his beautiful, lethal robot assassin.
Milla Jovovich, star of the forthcoming January 2017 release of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, has been cast according to Deadline with recording artist, George Lewis Jr. (a.k.a. Twin Shadow) is reportedly playing the role, Ratcatcher. Further casting details are in the works while AMBI is planning a release currently awaiting announcement.
