DEEPWATER HORIZON Gets Terrifying At Breakfast In A New Teaser

Leave it to director Peter Berg to turn a can of soda into an ominiously horrible science project at a breakfast table. Thus, we have the setup for an intense new teaser for the upcoming disaster epic, Deepwater Horizon based on one of the biggest and most environmentally destructive events in history.

On April 20th, 2010, the world’s largest man-made disaster occurred on the Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico. Directed by Peter Berg (Lone Survivor), this story honors the brave men and women whose heroism would save many on board, and change everyone’s lives forever.
Summit Entertainment and Participant Media present a di Bonaventura Pictures production, a Closest to the Hole / Leverage Entertainment production, a Peter Berg film. The film is directed by Peter Berg from a screenplay by Matthew Michael Carnahan and Matthew Sand and from a screen story by Matthew Sand. The film stars Academy Award® nominee Mark Wahlberg, Golden Globe® nominee Kurt Russell, Academy Award® nominee John Malkovich, Golden Globe® winner Gina Rodriguez, Dylan O’Brien and Academy Award® nominee Kate Hudson.
That spill lasted for five years at two million gallons a day. Apart from said heroes honored for the lives saved, let's hope this will etch a reminder that the Earth still needs rescuing.
