POWER RANGERS Gets Its Blue Ranger With R.J. Cyler

In keeping with the pace of things, War Machine co-star, actor R.J. Cyler has officially been added to the principal hero cast of Power Rangers from Lionsgate and Saban Films. Cyler's casting was announced further below on Instagram and other plaforms via social media:

Cyler joins lead actor Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger along with Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger and Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger from a script by Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller, based on the TV show's earlier roots as a Super Sentai series in Japan; The Ameritoku crossover adaptation which aired in 1993, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, centered on five teens enchanted with mystical morphers to transform them into super-suited heroes to defend Earth from intergalactic Evil.

Power Rangers is slated for a January 13, 2017 release. Stay tuned for who gets cast as the Yellow Ranger!
