Universal Sends A Special Note To Fans For FAST AND FURIOUS 7

Today feels a little Fast And Furious-themed, and that's partially my fault particularly after just completing an article this morning about actor Vin Diesel and actress Jordana Brewster. Universal Pictures just went public with a special note to fans of the franchise in light of late actor Paul Walker, in addition to a small update on the production involving Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody.

The two brothers have been the center of some attention after Paul Walker died tragically in a car crash in November of last year. With the production unsure of its resolve at first, no one knew how, or even if the film would continue through its completion until it was stated a month later by Diesel that production would, in fact continue through a new release date.

Accompanying this is the recent news that up to four body doubles would help render a CG-hybrid of Walker's character for the film, which essentially promises fans a full-on delivery of the beloved Walker/Diesel duo, which became the center of recognition just yesterday at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards. And with all other specualtion now put aside, the official note to the fans confirms the rest of the details.

Fast And Furious 7 is directed by James Wan and will star Walker along with Diesel and Brewster, actresses Michelle Rodriguez and Nathalie Emmanuel, and actors Tyrese Gibson, Christopher Bridges, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Tony Jaa, Djimon Hounsou and Lucas Black. The film roars into theaters on April 10, 2015.
