Watch The Latest International Teaser For JUPITER ASCENDING

We have a new international trailer this week for the upcoming release of Jupiter Ascending, the latest sci-fi fantasy action opera from brother/sister directing duo Andy and Lana Wachowski. The footage is basically everything that has already been seen in the initial teaser that was unveiled in the teaser late last year in December, just with Japanese subtitles. So we have a bit of time for more promo material before the film's July 18 release date.

The trailer also comes in light of rumors that the filmmaking brother/sister duo is scripting a new Matrix trilogy succeeding that of their earlier epic kung fu sci-fi films which starred Keanu Reeves, Carrie Anne Moss, Lawrence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving; This, of course, opens up a whole new can of worms with so many years having passed by with speculation that such a new trilogy has been in the works, and now with today's reports, all eyes are now on 2017 to see if it was all just talk, keeping folks like you interested (whether or not you like it), and keeping guys like myself pretty busy. So, yes, stay tuned for more info.

Jupiter Ascending stars Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis and Sean Bean, with Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, Doona Bae, James D'Arcy and Tim Pigott-Smith.

Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people's houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.
From the streets of Chicago to far flung galaxies whirling through space, Jupiter Ascendingis written and directed by the Wachowskis. Award-winning producer Grant Hill, with whom they have collaborated since The Matrix trilogy, is producing, together with Lana Wachowski and Andy Wachowski.
